Blinds are up in the Championship, and the field is a little tougher. Some of the top favorite players are trying for the RRPO title.

Brian Altman has three WPT titles, all in Florida and two right here. He won the WPT Lucky Hearts Poker Open Championship twice, and he is the only player in the tour’s history to win the same title twice.

Nadya Magnus is a former GPI Female Player of the Year with two WSOP Circuit rings and she finished fourth at the 2020 WPT LHPO Championship final table (with eventual champ Altman).

Viet Vo made back-to-back WPT Poker Showdown Championship final tables, two of the biggest fields in the tour’s history, and he owns a WSOPC Las Vegas Main Event ring.

Finally, local legend Raminder Singh brings the home team power to the RRPO Championship. He has a room full of trophies and his 13 major Hollywood titles are the most by anyone in our history.

With the flop reading and about 11K in the pot, a player in middle position checked and Ren Lin bet 4,500 from the cutoff. Shawn Cunix raised to 11,000 from the button to get a fold from the middle position player and a three-bet shove from Lin.

Cunix called at risk for 26,000.

Cunix was ahead with the bigger heart draw but had a small sweat with Lin’s gutshot straight draw and live cards. The board finished with the turn and river and Cunix won the pot with queen-high.

Shawn Cunix – 63,000 (105 bb)
Ren Lin – 62,000 (103 bb)
