Our Limit Omaha 8 players are enjoying their first break from the action, a pause from chopping pots amongst friends. We have 56 entries in the game so far and a talented crew trying to take home the RRPO trophy.

A few friends we found include Nadya Magnus, Jay Kerbel, Pritpal Virdee, Ryan Hoenig, Marc Sacheli, Marty Raschkovan, and David Shmuel.

Virdee is coming off a nice run on the other side of the state, finishing in the top spot on the Signature Poker Series leaderboard at our friend’s house in Tampa.

Level 1:  150/300 Limits

We have two new Omaha trophy events on today’s schedule and the first gets underway at 11 am with RRPO Event 9. It has a $600 buy-in and they will play Limit Omaha 8 until we have a champ.

Players sit with big 25K stacks and all levels last 30 minutes. Late registration and re-entries are available until the start of Level 9 at 3:30 pm and they have a 45-minute dinner break scheduled at 5:30 pm.

• Club WPT Gold Passport will be awarded for the overall chip leader at the start of Day 2 and to the final 9 players at the final table
• Players begin with 20,000 in chips
• Day 1 levels last 30 minutes; Day 2 levels last 40 minutes
• Levels 24+ last 60 minutes
