The last flight of the 2024 WPT Poker Showdown Championship gets underway at 11 am and the $3,500 buy-in tournament already surpassed its $3,000,000 guarantee. They’ll run it up today on a busy Saturday in the Grand Ballroom.

Players start with 50K stacks, and all levels last 60 minutes on the first two days and go up to 90 when 40 players remain. Late registration and unlimited re-entries are available until the start of Leve 9 at 9:15 pm with a 90-minute dinner break at 5:30 pm.

Day 1 will play through 10 full levels and survivors will bag for a Day 2 return tomorrow at noon.

Day 1A of the 2024 WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown Championship comes to an end with 298 players remaining from a Day 1A field of 945 entries, and the chip leader is Eider Da Cruz with 505,500 (202 big blinds).

John Krpan raised from middle position, the player on his direct left reraised all in for about 45,000, and Krpan called with , leading his opponent’s .

The board came , giving Krpan a pair of aces to eliminate his opponent.

Kamel Mokhammad got all in for 23,000 with in the hole under the gun preflop, and Erik Seidel had him covered holding Js] UTG+1.

The final board read , and Mokhammad doubled up to survive with 51,000 after collecting the pot, and Seidel was down to just 2,500.

With about 100,000 in the pot and board reading , action was on the player on the button with 40,000 already committed post-turn, facing an all-in raise from Eli Berg in the cutoff for 178,000.

After a little while in the tank, the player on the button called with for a pair of kings. Berg tabled for flush and straight draws.

The river was the , giving Berg a flush to double up.
