Josh Reichard

“Even chop, last chance,” Martin Kabrhel offered to Josh Reichard. Kabrhel was down to less than two barrels of 5K chips, so our reigning Poker Showdown Champ was uninterested.

Kabrhel opened to 145,000 from his button, Reichard announced all-in, and Kabrhel called at risk for 180,000 total.

Reichard: TcTh
Kabrhel: Qs4d

Reichard was in great shape with the tens and needed to dodge the over card or some magic on the board. It ran Jc2c2s8cTd and Reichard never had a sweat to complete his comeback.

He earned $288,400 for his win while Kabrhel took home $197,000.

Josh Reichard

Josh Reichard began his day by picking up several smaller pots with the occasional shove with his shorter stack. He was narrowing the deficient when Martin Kabhrel opened to 60,000 from his button and Reichard called.

The flop was Qs6h5c, Reichard checked, Kabhrel bet 70,000 and Reichard check-raised to 185,000. Kabhrel called, the turn was Qh, and Reichard led for 155,000.

Kabhrel called and another queen showed up on the Qd river. Reichard moved all in for 450,000 and Kabhrel thought for less than 30 seconds and called.

Reichard tabled KsQc for quad queens and Kabhrel’s 8c6s were quickly tabled and mucked.

Josh Reichard – 1,730,000 (108 bb)
Martin Kabhrel – 1,320,000 (83 bb)
