Event 71 of the 2026 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown was a $5,000 Deep Stack Eight-Handed No-Limit Hold’em, drawing 86 entries for a prize pool of $404,200. A three-way deal was reached and Alex Anton was the chip leader at the time, making him the official Event 71 winner for $103,189.

This marked Anton’s second SHRP major series trophy victory, having previously won the $10,000 version of this event on the final day of the 2025 SHRPO.

One of our favorite and most popular events on any major schedule comes on the last day, when we throw a one-day $5K trophy event. This time around, the $5,000 Deep Stack Eight-Handed tournament has a $250,000 guaranteed prize pool, and it will be a lot of fun starting at noon.

Players sit with 20K in their stacks and all levels last 30 minutes. Late registration is available until the start of Level 9 at 4:30 pm and players may re-enter as often as they wish during that time.
