Event 1 Flight B: Second Flight to Fly

$360 Ultimate Re-Entry
$500,000 Guaranteed | Structure
Level 1: 100/100

Flight A of the Ultimate Re-Entry event is still moving along with registration open but there is another option if players want to start fresh. Flight B is underway in the Event Center with the second of eight flights.

This tournament has a $360 buy-in and a $500,000 guaranteed prize pool with a twist on the best-stack-forward concept. Players may enter any or all of the flights, even if they already advanced. If players bag in multiple flights, they will play their biggest on Day 2 and earn a $2,500 for all other stacks.

In addition, all starting flights will play down to the money so all Day 2 returns will already set to cash. Each flight will come to an end when 10% of the starting field, rounding down, remain.

They will sit down to 15,000 starting stacks, 30-minute levels, and a big blind ante structure. Late registration and unlimited re-entries are available until 11:45 this evening to give players plenty of chances to make it down to the Event Center to take a shot.

Action is underway and we’ll be here the entire time.

  • $500,000 Guaranteed Prize Pool
  • Players begin with 15,000 in chips and 30-minute levels
  • Single ante will be paid from the big blind for the entire table
  • Late registration/re-entry available until start of Level 13
  • 10% of each flight’s field, rounded down, will advance to Day 2
  • All Day 2 players will be in the money
  • Players surviving more than one Day 1 flight will receive a $2,500 cash payout for each lesser multiple chip stack

Ory Hen (left) and Al Gomez (right)

The Flight A count is teasing 500 entries this afternoon and we should get there with 90 minutes remaining for late registration.

Two more familiar faces popped up in the field and they are sitting next to each other. Ory Hen has a handful of SHRP titles and won the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Player of the Year title in 2015. Al Gomez is always grinding but still looking for his first title. He has plenty of big results through including his best career cash in the opening event of the 2015 Lucky Hearts Poker Open for $63,000.

The second break is complete and Flight A players are back in their seats. They have four more levels, plus a break, before registration closes. If they do not want to rejoin this flight, the next kicks off at 5pm.

Frankie Flowers continues to lead with 125,000 and it looks like Isaac Kratchman is his nearest competitor with 98,000. Cliff Conners is stacked up nicely with 90,000 with several others nearing triple digits.

Level 8: 300/600 with a 600 ante
Flight A Entries: 446

Frankie Flowers

Frankie Flowers is never bored at the poker table, he’s always having a good time. Now he’s having fun and picking up chips.

The latest run-up saw him three-bet preflop from early position followed by a short stack shove from the cutoff. The OG raiser and Flowers called to see the KcKhTh flop. The other live player bet 6,000 and Flowers put him all in for his last 15,000. He folded and Flowers tabled his trip kings Kd3d.

The all-in player flipped up 9s8s, picked up a gutshot draw on the Qd turn, but missed the As river to exit before the second break. Flowers stacked his castle higher and up to 147,000.

Event 1 Flight A: Genevieve Breeze Sends Two Out

$360 Ultimate Re-Entry

Level 7: 300/500 with a 500 ante
Flight A Entries: 411

Genevieve Breeze

The field is turning over at a brisk rate and the entry count was pushed over 400 with late registration available until 5:45pm.

Genevieve Breeze is another visitor from the great Northeast and making the most of her time down here. She was already well above starting stack when two opponents were all-in for 5,700 each and she had them covered and dominated.

Her AdJc was ahead of As4s and Ac5c but the KcKs8h gave her a chop sweat. The board finished with the Th turn and 9h river to send two players out and push her stack to 37,900.

Frankie Flowers

The Flight A entry count is nearing 400 after six levels and we have a new name topping the counts. SHRP favorite (and 2016 Poker Showdown trophy winner) Frankie Flowers is back in South Florida for the series and starting off hot.

He had only 6,000 at the first break but went on a massive heater to stack up to 92,000 in only 30 minutes.

Level 5: 200/300 with a 300 ante

Anthony Cuffari

Cards are back in the air after the first break and we have our early frontrunner. Northeast grinder Anthony Cuffari came down to the Sunshine State for some Ultimate Re-Entry action and he ran his 15,000 starting stack over 80,000 in four levels.

Cuffari has several tournament wins in the colder climates, including a Borgata Saturday Series win in October, but he is down here looking for his first SHRP cash.

We have a lot of talent here early on the first day including SHRP favorites Sheddy Siddiqui, Jason Young, and Mark Dube (who won back-to-back 2018 SHRPO events in August).

Level 1: 100/100

The new year is here and we are kicking off our first big series of 2019 with the Seminole Hard Rock Lucky Hearts Poker Open. It features 25 great events over the next 13 days and we are going big right out of the gates.

Event 1 is the return of the popular Ultimate Re-Entry tournament that will attract thousands of players and create a huge prize pool. The tournament has a $360 buy-in with a $500,000 Guarantee and eight starting flights. In addition to the standard payouts, players also have a chance to bank some money if they survive more than one flight.

Unlike most tournaments, players may enter as many of the eight flights as they wish. If they advance more than one stack for Day 2 on Monday, they will play their biggest bag and we will pay them $2,500 for every other one that makes it through.

Flight A starts at 11am in the Event Center and each player will sit down to a 15,000 starting stack. Late registration and unlimited re-entries are available later than normal as well, this time registration will close at the start of Level 13 at 5:45pm.

All starting flights will also play down to the money. Each flight will end when 10% of the starting field remains, rounding down, and all of them will return for Day 2 already set to go to the payout desk.

This is a great way to start the series and we expect one of the biggest fields in Florida poker history by the time registration closes late Sunday evening.

  • $500,000 Guaranteed Prize Pool
  • Players begin with 15,000 in chips and 30-minute levels
  • Single ante will be paid from the big blind for the entire table
