The $600 Mixed PLO had a great turnout with 134 entries and 13 talented players were still in the game when they closed down the Day 1 action. Matt Bretzfield leads the field when cards go back in the air at 1 pm.

Bretzfield is going for his third Mixed PLO title in four series and his fourth title in his fourth consecutive series. But he has some tough competition that also includes seven-time Hollywood winner David Shmuel and three-time champ (and WSOP bracelet winner) A.J. Kelsall.

The next big LHPO tournament gets underway at 5 pm with a lot of action. Event 10 is a $600 Mixed PLO tournament that will rotate games between Pot-Limit Omaha, Pot-Limit Omaha 8, and Big O (five-cards PLO8).

They’ll start with 20,000 deep stacks and all levels last 30 minutes. Late registration and unlimited re-entries are available until the start of Level 9 at 9:30 pm. Day 1 will come to an end after Level 16 and survivors will return on Monday at 1 pm to play for the title.
