Championship: Eli Levy – 11th Place ($58,500)

$3,500 WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown Championship
Level 28: 30,000/60,000/10,000 Ante

Our former chip leader has hit the rail. It started when Eli Levy limped under the gun and Griffin Paul raised to 180,000. Dan Heimiller called from the small blind and Levy called as well.

Heimiller checked the Ts7c4h flop and Levy bet 400,000 only to see Paul come over the top for 900,000. Heimiller let his hand go and Levy called again.

Levy checked the 9h turn and Paul moved all-in for 3,300,000 and enough to cover Levy. The shove was called with top pair QsTc but was behind Paul’s QhQc. The 7s was not one of Levy’s two outs and the starting Day 4 leader was gone in 11th place for $58,500.

Players are now redrawing for the 10-handed final table. Table draw in chips to come shortly.

Championship: Harvey Vandeven – 12th Place ($58,500)

$3,500 WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown Championship
Level 28: 30,000/60,000/10,000 Ante

Dan Heimiller continues to pound away and Harvey Vandeven was on the wrong end this time with Heimiller on the button against Vandeven in the small blind.

Vandeven boldy moved all-in “in the dark” for 995,000 as the 6h6c4s flop was coming out. It was a lot for Heimiller to considered but he eventually called with ace-high AcTd. He was correct when Vandeven showed QsTs for Queen-high.

Nothing changed on the 7s turn or 7c river and Vandeven was out in 12th place for $58,500.

Championship: Heimiller Gets There Again

$3,500 WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown Championship
Level 28: 30,000/60,000/10,000 Ante

Dan Heimiller is living on grit and comebacks, once again pulling a miracle out of the deck. The latest began when he opened to 175,000 from the button and John Thrower three-bet to 425,000 from the small blind.

Heimiller thought for a moment before announcing all-in for just over 2,000,000. Thrower asked for a count before calling with JhJs and Heimiller let out a small exclamation before tabling 2d2h.

He didn’t wait until the river this time, instead hitting right on the Kd7h]2s. Heimiller stayed ahead on the As turn and 5h river for another big double to 4,250,000.

Championship: Gilbert Barrett – 13th Place ($39,000)

$3,500 WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown Championship
Level 28: 30,000/60,000/10,000 Ante

Gilbert Barrett came back from the break with the shortest stack of those in play but still 28 big blinds to work. He used them against Andre Crooks to his detriment.

It was heads up to the QdQh2h5h board when Barrett check-raised all-in with TsTd. It was an easy call for Crooks with KhQc and his trip Queens improved to an overkill boat when the board finished Kc. Barrett was the last out at this pay level and picks up $39,000 for his efforts.

Brian Green was moved to balance the tables with 12 remaining.

$3,500 WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown Championship
Level 27: 25,000/50,000/5,000 Ante

While one table was off on break, the other table had a big hand brewing. It took a fourth bet from Travis Northrope against Andre Crooks before everything was in the middle with a cooler.

Northrope had to think KsKd was good but Crooks woke up with AcAh. The Aces held when the board ran out 7c5s3s7s8d and the entertaining Northrope was out in 14th for $39,000.

Championship: Lenny Duvdivani – 16th Place ($26,500)

$3,500 WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown Championship
Level 27: 25,000/50,000/5,000 Ante

Lenny Duvdivani tried for another double with a three-bet shove after a Griffin Paul open. The 390,000 bet was called by Paul and Duvdivani had two live cards.

Paul: Ad9d
Duvdivani: KhQd

Ace-high was good to give Paul the knockout after the Tc6s5s4h3s board and Duvdivani’s run comes to an end in 16th.
