Event 14: Sorensen and Binns Gone, 14 Remain

$350 Big Stack No Limit Hold’em (FREEZE-OUT)
Level 17: Blinds 2,500/5,000/500 ante

Level 17 has not been lacking for action as two more players have fallen.

Michael Sorensen tried to make a push with Q-J but ran into Joe Budd’s kings and was out in 16th.

Then came the elimination of John Binns.  Binns was full of table antics including putting the needle to an elderly player after eliminating him and accusing a dealer of “obstrucing his view”.  But his table talk couldn’t carry him as he saw his huge stack dwindle down before his final hand.

Binns pushed his remaining stack in with As8d but ran into Vincent Mallia’s AsQd.  Binns looked like he dodged a bullet on a 4c9c8s taking the lead but it was almost as if karma struck after he called for second eight to hit.  The board ran out KdQs giving the hand to Mallia on the river and sending Binns to the rail in 15th place and out of the money.

14 players remain as we stand two from the money bubble.
