SHR Sat

Players began with 15,000 chips and levels are 30 minutes long.  When registration closed at the start of level 5, there were 14 players.  The eventual winner will get the $100,000 seat in the Super High Roller event and second place will get $40,000.

The field included big names like Yevgeniy Timoshenko, Scott Seiver, and Dan Smith.

They’re already down to the final three players.  Josh Arieh, Keven Stammen, and Ryan Fee.  One of these three will be playing in the SHRPO Super High Roller event tomorrow.

Super High Roller Structure Update

As officially announced earlier, PokerStars.tv will be live streaming final tables of both the $100,000 buy-in Super High Roller and $10 Million Guaranteed Main Event. They will bring their broadcast team and live stream technology to provide commentary and hole cards on a broadcast delay.

This news required a tweaking of the Super High Roller structure. The event was originally schedule to run as a 3-day event but it has now been adjusted. The new structure will have the starting field on September 1 play down to its final table of eight players before pausing the action. Those who make the Super High Roller final table will return on September 2 to the Paradise Live at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in front of their fans, friends, and family.

Spectators over 18 years old are welcome to watch the final tables live in the Paradise Live theater along with a world-wide audience on the internet.
