We’re going a little bigger this afternoon with Event 23 at 2 pm in the Event Center. It is a $1,700 Purple Chip Bounty Pot-Limit Omaha tournament with $500 on every player’s head and a two-day structure to give them room to move.

Players start with 20,000 deep stacks and all Day 1 levels last 30 minutes, increasing to 40 on Day 2. Late registration and unlimited re-entries are available until the start of Level 9 at 7 pm following the 45-minute dinner break.

The tournament will play down to the last 12.5% of the field and those players will return tomorrow at 2 pm in the money, ready to find a champ.

2023 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open Event 23 Champion Justin Liberto

Event 23 of the 2023 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open was a $10,000 Deep Stack No-Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry). A field of 84 entries generated a prize pool of $798,000, and emerging victorious was Justin Liberto, winning outright for $257,000.

Liberto began the final table as the chip leader and maintained it for the majority of the way. The final hand between Liberto and second-place finisher Dan Heimiller was a set-over-set cooler, where Liberto was on the winning side to clinch the victory.

Liberto’s six-figure score was his second at the Seminole Hard Rock, having final tabled the 2022 SHRPO Championship last August with a fourth-place finish for $305,955. With his result tonight, Liberto eclipsed the $5.7 million mark in career live tournament winnings per the Hendon Mob poker database.
