Joe Pozos didn’t knock out Marshall White, but he did almost all the damage. He limped in the small blind and White raised to 180,000 in the big blind.
Pozos moved all-in and White quickly called with only to see he was up against . It was a dry run out of and Pozos’ 1,450,000 was doubled leaving White with only 50,000 and the big blind.
He was all-in for less than the 100,000 required while Yves Fequiere and Pozos checked down the next board of . Fequiere’s was good enough to take the small pot against Pozos’ and White’s .

Richard Hembree was getting anxious to get somewhere else. He was getting ready to go and moved all-in for ~400,000 from the button and Yves Fequiere quickly called when it got to him in the big blind.

Hembree’s chances decreased on the flop and were gone after the . The river was a pointless and Hembree was eliminated in 5th place for $4,181.

One hand later and Peter Chin moved all-in for 390,000 and Joe Pozos called in the small blind. Marshall White responded by moving all-in from the big blind to get a fold from Pozos.

The quick post-break action continued when Marc Levy had his entire stack in the middle on the next hand after Pat Tiller’s elimination.
Ariel Rosello had him at risk with against but Levy added an open-ended straight draw to his live cards on the flop. He couldn’t catch though, as the turn and river came and to send him out in 7th place for $2,567.

Two hands after they returned from break, Pat Tiller open shoved for 365,000 and Marshall White moved in over the top from the button. The blinds released their hands and the cards were tabled.

About the best Tiller could hope for, flipping to stay alive. But he never had a sweat as the board ran to sent Tiller out in 8th place for $1,822.

The fast pace slowed down once they reached the final table and went an entire level without a big hand. The first knockout came in a weird situation.
Robert Chusid accidentally exposed one of this cards (the ) and was forced to play with one up and one down in the small blind. Action folded to him and he moved all-in.
Strong move but David Shmuel quickly called with and Chusid turned over his other card to find . Chusid flopped a flush draw on the board and turned a gutshot draw on the turn.
Chusid jumped out of his seat and Shmuel shook his head when the dropped on the river to complete the straight. It was a tough exit but Shmuel was gone in 10th place for $994.
