WPT TOC: Meet Your Final Table Members

Even when the WPT Tournament of Champions kicked off, it was already guaranteed to have a successful group of players at the final table. A WPT title was required to enter and every player had big tournament success. And the tournament got exactly what it deserved.

The final six players have combined for nearly $53 million in live tournament earnings with seven WPT titles, 11 WSOP bracelets, and two WSOP Circuit rings. The final table spotlight will be on Erik Seidel and Michael “The Grinder” Mizrachi but the other four are worthy of everyone’s attention.

Chip count: 699,000

With more than $15 million earned his career, Mizrachi owns three WSOP bracelets with two of them coming in the $50,000 Poker Player’s Championship. He is the only player to win the title twice. Chip count: 872,000

With $2.2 million in career earnings, Weinman is the most recent member of the WPT Champions Club at the final table. He picked up his WPT title this past January during the 2017 WPT Borgata Winter Poker Open. Weinman also owns a WSOP Circuit ring plus an SHRP trophy from the 2014 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open $2,200 Eight-Game Mix event.

With close to $800,000 collected in tournament cash, Santoro’s WPT victory came during the 2011 World Poker Classic at Foxwoods. His next biggest cash came with a second place finish in the 2007 WPT Borgata Poker Open $2,500 tournament.

Seat 5: Erik Seidel

With more than $31.6 million in his Poker Hall of Fame career, Seidel is ranked first in the United States in earnings and second in the world behind only Daniel Negreanu. He owns eight WSOP bracelets and won his sole WPT title at the 2008 Foxwoods Poker Classic. Among his many high roller titles, Seidel also won the 2011 WPT World Championship Super High Roller at the Bellagio.

Seat 6: Dylan Wilkerson

With $2.2 million earned in his career, Wilkerson is the only player at the final to have won his title on a different continent. WPT TOC: Daniel Weinman Leads Final Six, Michael Mizrachi Makes Back-to-Back Tournament of Champion Final Tables

$15,000 WPT Tournament of Champions
Level 18: 5,000/10,000 with a 1,000 ante
Players Remaining: 6 of 66

Daniel Weinman

One of the most elite fields of the WPT season is down to its final six players and Daniel Weinman leads the final six players that made the televised final table of the WPT Tournament of Champions.

Weinman finished the day with 872,000 and is joined at the top of the counts by Michael Mizrachi. Mizrachi made the final table of this same event last year. He also came into the televised final table second in chips last year and finished third to take home $140,450.

Erik Seidel, Dylan Wilkerson, Daniel Santoro and David Ormsby round out the final six.

The day started with 30 players still hopeful of taking home another WPT title, but players busted out quickly and they were down to the final 10 players right after the dinner break.

With the top nine spots earning a cash, hand-for-hand didn’t last very long before Michael Mizrachi cracked Lee Markholt’s pocket jacks by making the nut flush on the river. Markholt was the bubble boy and the final nine players were in the money.

Once redrawing and combining  to one table, the action didn’t slow down. Jonathan Jaffe, who final tabled this event last year, finished ninth for $38,150, Jesse Sylvia was eliminated in eighth for $43,600, and Stefan Schillhabel bubbled the televised final table, hitting the rail in seventh for $49,050.

Cards are scheduled to get in the air on Sunday at 4 p.m. at Hard Rock Live. There is 12 minutes left in the current level and everybody is guaranteed a payout of at least $57,225. The eventual winner will get $381,500, including a seat into next year’s Tournament of Champions.
