With the final board showing 10c2c2sKsKc, Ali Imsirovic moved all in, and David Peters tanked for a long time before somebody called for a clock.

Peters eventually called with 10d9d for two pair, kings and tens, but Imsirovic turned over Ac7c to win the pot with a club flush and eliminate Peters.

Ali Imsirovic  –  525,000  (105 bb)
David Peters  –  Eliminated

A few minutes later, Chris Brewer three-bet all in with AcJd, but he needed to improve to stay alive against Imsirovic’s AdKd.

The board came 10d6d2s10s5h, and the ace-king held up for Imsirovic to score his second knockout in the span of a few minutes to get the field down to seven players.

Brewer was on his second bullet, so he won’t be able to re-enter.

Ali Imsirovic raised from the button to 6,000, and Sean Winter thought for a while before moving all in from the small blind for 15,000. Cary Katz called from the big blind, and Imsirovic also called.

Both players checked to the river on a board of AcQd8s5d3c, Katz checked, Imsirovic bet 15,000, and Katz folded.

Winter showed Qh9h for a pair of queens, but Imsirovic turned over Ah7h to win the pot with a pair of aces, eliminating Winter from the tournament. (Winter has already used his optional re-entry.)

Chris Brewer got it all in from the big blind for 32,500 with AdJs, and needed his hand to hold to stay alive against Sean Winter’s Ac9h on the button.

The board came QhJc3d7h6c, and Brewer won the pot with a pair of jacks to double up in chips.

The field is now up to 19 players, approaching yesterday’s number of 24. The latest entries include Elio Fox, Lazaro Hernandez, Tom Marchese, Sam Soverel (re-entry), and Chris Brewer (re-entry).

At one point, as the tournament staff was opening up another table to accomodate the additional players, recent re-entry Sam Soverel told Elio Fox, “This is my fourth bullet, and I’ve only played 12 f***ing hands.”

Dan Smith doubled thru Elio Fox to knock Fox all the way down to a single 500 chip, or 25% of a big blind.

Elio Fox  –  500  (0.25 bb)

Fox got his 500 all in with 10s2s against Tom Marchese’s Kc9c, and the board came AhQh3c10d9s to give Fox the octuple up to 4,000.

Elio Fox  –  4,000  (2 bb)

That’s when the blinds increased to 1,500-2,500, and Sergi Reixach raised under the gun to 4,500. Fox called all in from UTG+1 for 4,000, and Marchese called from the big blind to create a side pot worth 1,000.

The flop came 7c6h6d, Marchese checked, Reixach bet 3,000, and Marchese called.

The turn card was the Qc, Marchese checked, Reixach bet 12,000, and Marchese folded. Reixach took the side pot worth 7,000.

For the main pot, Fox showed Qs2d for two pair, queens and sixes, but Reixach turned over KhKc. Fox needed to improve to stay alive.

The river card was the As, and Reixach won the pot with his kings to eliminate Fox.

Sergi Reixach  –  260,000  (104 bb)
Elio Fox  –  Eliminated

Dan Smith

A few minutes later, after a flop of QcJh7c, Jake Schindler bet from the small blind, Dan Smith moved all in from the cutoff for about 60,000, and Schindler quickly called with KhKd for an overpair.

Smith turned over Qd10d for a pair of queens, and needed to improve to stay alive.

The turn card was the 4c, the river card was the 6d, and the pocket kings held up for Schindler to win the pot and eliminate Smith.

Jake Schindler  –  230,000  (92 bb)
Dan Smith  –  Eliminated
