The river was the 4s, and Newman led out for 15,000. Ben Kessous tanked for about two minutes, squirming in his seat a bit while Newman just stared at him. Ben Kessous eventually folded, and Newman casually tossed over KdJs as he collected the pot.

Until that time, anyone that goes bust can simply head back to the registration desk and get back in the game for another $560. After that time, though, the re-entry period is closed and the field will be final.

Those who find the felt post-4:25pm have another option to scratch the poker itch at the cash tables. Bonus High Hands up to $1,000 kick in at 6pm and are paid every 30 minutes with rollover until midnight.

The clock strikes 11am in South Florida and the headline event of the 2017 Fun in the Sun Poker Open is underway at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. Recognized as the Main Event, the final tournament of the series is a $560 buy-in no limit hold’em re-entry event. Players take their seats to 20,000 starting chips with 20-minute levels kicking it off before they jump to 30 minutes two hours into the structure.
