Event 9 of the 2025 Lucky Hearts Poker Open was a $1,100 Deep Stack Five-Card PLO (Re-Entry), drawing 62 entries for a prize pool of $60,140. A heads-up chop took place and Timothy Banks was the chip leader at the time, making him the official Event 9 winner for $17,165.

This marked Banks’ third SHRP major series trophy victory, having previously won a $2,200 PLO event at the 2020 LHPO, and a $350 No-Limit Hold’em event at the 2016 Showdown.

After the elimination of Ken Brosnahan in third place, Timothy Banks and Eric Lea agreed to a heads-up chop paying each $17,165.

Banks was the chip leader, making him the official Event 9 winner for his third SHRP major series trophy.

Ken Brosnahan was already all in from the button with side action remaining between Eric Lea in the small blind and Timothy Banks in the big blind.

The flop was and after a bet and a few raises, Banks was all in for 461,000 with for a pair of jacks with the nut flush draw. Lea showed for jacks and deuced with an inferior flush draw, while Brosnahan’s holdings were well behind.

The turn and river completed the board, giving Banks a backdoor heart flush to double through Lea while eliminating Brosnahan in third place.

Eric Lea raised to 16,000 from the button, Filip Cvetinovic called in the small blind, and Timothy Banks called in the big blind.

The flop was , Cvetinovic went all in for about 30,000, Banks folded, and Lea called with for a set of fives. Cvetinovic showed for sixes and fives.

The turn and river completed the board, no help to Cvetinovic, ending his tournament in fourth place.
