The first of 20 Championship Events kicked off with the $1 Million Guaranteed prize pool. Daniel Peila (Wheaton, IL) earned the largest part of a three-way deal that saw him earn $144,294 and the trophy.

This tournament highlighted the first week of the Poker Showdown as we take a look back at Events 1-3.
