Ido Ashkenazi won the premiere of the Everglades Poker Open at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood early Monday morning. Ashkenazi outlasted a tough field of 485 entries in the series’ $350 buy-in, $150,000 guaranteed headliner. It was an outright win that earned him $30,949 along with an added $3,500 seat in the $2,000,000 guaranteed Rock ‘n’ Roll Poker Open Championship.

Ashkenazi is 31 years old and resides in Davie, Florida. The victory marks his second at the Seminole Hard Rock and moves him just under $450,000 in career tournament earnings.
