Byron Kaverman

Dani Dayan limped the cutoff, Byron Kaverman joined for the minimum on the button, and Jeremy Ausmus completed in the small blind. From the big blind, Alex Rocha raised to 14,000, and that was enough to fold Dayan out of the way. Kaverman back-shoved for 83,000 total, though, and that got Ausmus out of the middle, as well.

Rocha needed a couple minutes to think, since the call would represent nearly all of his remaining chips, too. Eventually, he did call, putting Kaverman at risk on a flip.

Kaverman: 4c4h
Rocha: KcQc

The board ran out safely for Kaverman, coming Tc8s3s5hAs to give him a double-up with a pair of fours.

Rocha was left with just 18,000 chips, and he was eliminated one hand later.

Byron Kaverman – 176,500 (59 bb)
Alex Rocha – Eliminated
