The last multi-flight tournament before the WPT RRPO Championship drew 972 entries over four starting flights and the $600 Deep Stack tournament more than doubled its $250,000 guarantee. They combined to put $505,440 in the prize pool and 123 players return today in the money, trying to get the near $50K top prize.
David Castranova leads the return with George Spyropoulos, Jason Prochaska, Kharlin Sued, and Shlomi Bracha rounding out the top five.
They return today with about 20 minutes remaining in Level 15 and blind levels will increase to 40 minutes once they hit Level 16. Action will continue this evening until we have a winner and players are properly warmed up for the Championship on Friday.
