The 2016 Deep Stack Series took place at the Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood May 19-30. With more than $650,000 in guaranteed prizes, the series saw seven new champions crowned. Stealing the headline in the $1,650 Deepest Stack Event was Scott Heiligman.
A series finale of sorts, the $1,650 Deepest Stack drew a field of 367 entries generating a prize pool in excess of $550,000. After the dust settled, it was Heiligman who earned the tournament’s $121,202 top prize as well as a seat in the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open Championship. Finishing runner-up was Seminole Hard Rock Poker team member Sheddy Siddiqui while fellow team member Mukul Pahuja placed 3rd.

- Event 1 ($350 NLH): Steve McKoy defeated 1,075 entries for $49,755
- Event 2 ($150 Deep Stack Turbo): Marc Schiller defeated 176 entries for $2,957
- Event 3 ($560 NLH): Almog Biton defeated 452 entries for $57,746
- Event 4 ($1,650 NLH): Scott Heiligman defeated 367 entries for $121,202
- Event 5 ($150 Deep Stack Turbo): Eric Ward defeated 90 entries for $2,500
- Event 6 ($150 Deep Stack Turbo): Esteban Garcia defeated 115 entries for $2,530
- Event 7 ($250 Holiday Deep Stack): David Shmuel defeated 290 entries for $11,283
