The 2016 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open is officially a week old and the action didn’t slow down on Wednesday. Three trophies were taken home with the massive $570 No Limit Hold’em Re-Entry event on the horizon to highlight Thursday’s action.
There were two single day events on Wednesday. The $360 No Limit Hold’em Six-Max event got cards in the air at noon and drew 171 players.
When the dust settled, it was Dan Heimiller who came out on top of the field. He took home the trophy and $12,577.
The other single day event was the $360 Pot Limit Omaha Hi-Lo, which kicked off at 3 p.m. There were 124 entrants in that event and Bradley Young took home the hardware in a four-way chop. He took home $7,194 for the win.
Most of the attention was on the restart of the $150 No Limit Hold’em Re-Entry event that started at 1 p.m. There were 184 players that returned at the outset of the day with the winner set to be crowned by the day’s end.
Brian Woods took home the lion’s share of the $220,920 prizepool in a four-way deal. Woods earned $34,653 to go along with the trophy in his first career tournament win.
Thursday’s action is all about the $570 No Limit Hold’em Re-Entry event. There are six starting flights over the next three day’s and there is a $1 million guaranteed prizepool for it.
