There were 179 entries in Tuesday night’s Deep Stack Turbo No-Limit Hold’em event, nearly doubling the $30K guarantee to create a prizepool worth $59,965.

It took just over eight hours until the final three players agreed to an ICM deal to end the tournament shortly after 3:00 am. As chipleader, Georges Boyadjian was awarded the title, the trophy, and $12,327.

Mikhail Shlapakou received $10,334 for second place, and Sam Zalmanov received $9,129 for third.

Boyadjian started the final table with a large chip lead, but as you’d expect from a turbo structure, there were quite a few chip count swings at the final table. At first, nothing went right for Boyadjian as he doubled up several other players. But he had enough chips to weather that slide, and he was able to build momentum late to take the chip lead when it mattered most — when the tournament ended.
