Martin Kozlov

Defending champion Martin Kozlov has been improving his chances for repeating last year’s run. He began the day with 95,000 but now sits with 207,000 after a nice run of cards.

As the dealer explained, Kozlov hit quads in one hand then she put quads on the next board and his kicker played to send him that pot.

Not a bad Day 2 start for the 2017 SHRPO Champion.

Event 20 is a $2,650 No Limit Hold’em tournament with a big $1,000,000 guaranteed prize pool. Poker pro Alex Foxen won this tournament last year but he’s hoping he doesn’t need to defend it this time around since he’s still in the Championship with a healthy stack.
