Nick Petrangelo

As the dealers began another hand of bubble play, three players were forced all in.

Nick Petrangelo was all in for half an ante, and Stefan Schillhabel had his last 12,000 chips committed as half the big blind, too.

At the other table, Alexander Turyansky was all in for 4,000 in the small blind. We’ll start there. Action folded to Adrian Mateos on the button, and he raised. Ben Yu was in the big blind with just 52,000 himself, and he tanked for a couple minutes before folding.

Mateos: Tc2s
Turyansky: QdQc

Welp. The other table couldn’t help but marvel at Turyansky’s timing, and he stayed alive after an AcQh2c8c5h run-out.

At the other table, Ben Tollerene put both Petrangelo and Schillhabel at risk.

Tollerene: Jc9c
Schillhabel: Ad7d
Petrangelo: As4c

The board ran out 9h7h7sQd4s, and Schillhabel won the pot with trip sevens.

After about 60 hands of bubble play, Nick Petrangelo was ushered out with the proverbial wooden spoon. The 11 who remain are now in the money, each guaranteed to earn at least $54,375.

The bubble in this High Roller is truly something special.

There have already been more than 55 hands of hand-for-hand play, with the big stacks pressing the action for the duration. The short stacks have continued to get shorter and shorter, and it’s become a simple last-longer contest between a handful of players.

Here are some of the hands from the last orbit:

Alex Turyansky moved all in for 62,000 under the gun, and Adrian Mateos put him at risk from the big blind.

Turyansky: Qs8c
Mateos: Qd3d

The board ran out clean for Turyansky, coming JhTc4hTs6s to give him a double-up.

At the other table, Nick Petrangelo was down to 58,000, and he moved all in from the hijack. When Ben Tollerene folded his small blind, Stefan Schillhabel cursed in the big.

“Fuck!” he said. The table shared a laugh at his predicament. It was barely more than two big blinds, but Schillhabel only had 131,000 chips in front of him. He folded, and Petrangelo survived.

Back to the other table, Ben Yu was down to just 26,000, and he had 24,000 of it posted in the big blind.  Bryn Kenney shoved on him from middle position, and Yu dropped his last two chips into the pot.

Yu: 2s3d
Kenney: Ah8c

The board ran out Ks7s7h2c6h, and the deuce on the turn was good news for Yu. He doubled up.
