Darryll Fish opened the button with a raise to 225,000, and Andy Frankenberger three-bet shoved for 1,945,000 in the big blind. Fish called to put him at risk.

“Thomas, you’ve been good to me,” Frankenberger reminded his favorite dealer. “How about a Jack of Spades on the flop?”

Sure enough, the flop came JsTc9h to give him the lead with top pair. There was still a sweat, though, as Fish had an open-ended straight draw in addition to his overcard.

The 2d turn and Td river completed the board with blanks, though, and Frankenberger celebrated his double-up.

Action folded around to the blinds, where Aleksandr Shevelev shoved from the small. Andy Frankenberger quickly called all in for 1,195,000 in the big, putting himself at risk.
