Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open Championship satellite day is rolling right along and it is already a huge success. The opening turbo satellite gave away two seats but the big numbers are here so far for the 11am run.

This $570 buy-in satellite has (had) 20 seats guaranteed but that number was in the rear view mirror before the clock hit noon. With a tad under two hours remaining to register, the count is closing in on 30 seats up for grabs.

So this is going to get even larger.

While walking the tournament floor, we were met by a wide range of players. Everyone from casual grinders looking to win their way into the $3 Million Guaranteed Championship to top pros looking for a warmup and discount. One table is particularly tough and includes Brian Hastings, Ronit Chamani, Nash Antonias, and SHRP team member Matt Stout.
