Day 1B of the $3,500 WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown Championship drew an unofficial 1,436 entries, bringing the total field size to more than 2,400 — a record for a WPT Main Tour event.  As it stands right now, the total prizepool is worth more than $7.9 million.

About 500 players survived on Day 1B, and they will return (along with the Day 1A survivors) for Day 2 on Sunday at 12:00 noon.

Brian Goble finished today with 503,000, which is good enough for the overall chip lead heading into Day 2.
