Three more players left the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino with hardware on Monday.
Collin Robinson took down the $1,650 No Limit Hold’em Purple Chip Bounty. Cards got in the air at 2 p.m. with the final nine players returning to play down to a winner. Robinson defeated Toby Boas heads-up to take home $34,800 and the first trophy of the day.
The $360 No Limit Hold’em Turbo event got cards in the air at 3 p.m. and drew a field of 283 players. the 15-minute blind levels made sure the tournament was over quickly. Less than eight hours later, the final eight players decided to make a deal.
Steven Bennett took credit for the win, goes home with the trophy, and $11,000 after having the chip lead when the deal was made. He topped a final table that featured Bill Gazes, Randy Pfeifer, Steve McKoy, and Frankie Flowers.
The elder statesmen had their time in the limelight as well with the $300 No Limit Hold’em Seniors Event got cards in the air at 11 a.m.
It drew 190 players and in the early hours of Tuesday morning, Marc Levy came out on top to add another trophy to his collection. He also headed home with an extra $14,048 to his name.
On Tuesday, there’s another busy day of poker with two more events kicking off, highlighted by the inaugural $1,100 No Limit Hold’em Shootout.
