Action Clock

With 198 players remaining in the field, the tournament clock is paused so the 30-second Action Clock by Protection Poker can be put into play, and it will remain in use throughout the rest of the tournament.

Players will have 30 seconds to make each decision. Each player has been given 10 non-transferable Time Chips, which can be used to extend any decision by 30 seconds.

When the field reaches the final three tables (24 players), each player will be reset to exactly six Time Chips each, and when the six-handed final table begins, each player will be reset to exactly eight Time Chips each.

The field is now beginning hand-for-hand play two spots away from the money.

With 198 players remaining from a field of 1,566, the average chip stack is about 316,000 (40 big blinds). The final 196 players will finish in the money, guaranteed at least $5,265 each.

There will be a 90-minute dinner break after Level 16 (around 6:30 pm), and action will continue tonight until the end of Level 20 (around 12:15 am).
