Level 15:  3,000/6,000 with a 6,000 ante
Players Remaining:  249 of 1,982

With 250 players remaining, and 248 getting paid, hand-for-hand play begins on the Money Bubble. Two players need to be eliminated for the rest of the field to make the money.

The Action Clock by Protection Poker has been put into play, and it will be used for the rest of the tournament. Players will have 30 seconds to make each decision, and each player has been given 10 Time Chips, which can be used to extend any decision by an additional 30 seconds.

In Hand #1 of hand-for-hand play on the Money Bubble, Ricky Flach raised under the gun to 17,000, the player on the button called, and Albert Nguyen called from the big blind.

The flop came Ah9c2d, and Nguyen moved all in for 51,000. Flach called, and the player on the button folded.

Once the action ended at all the other tables, Nguyen turned over AcJc for a pair of aces, but he needed to improve to stay alive against Flach’s AdQc — pair of aces with a higher kicker.

The turn card was the 7d, the river card was the 6c, and Flach won the pot with his queen kicker to eliminate Nguyen in 250th place.

Ricky Flach  –  282,000  (47 bb)

With 249 players remaining from a field of 1,982, the average chip stack is about 318,000 (53 big blinds). The final 248 players will finish in the money, earning at least $6,275 each.

There will be a 90-minute dinner break after Level 16 (about 7:00 pm), and action is scheduled to continue tonight until the end of Level 20, around 12:20 am.
