Matt Berkey came back from break to a castle which has grown. He now sits behind more than 750,000 chips and commanding his table.

But there’s another player coming up behind him. Jason Mercier was comfortably grinding a 200K stack until his tablemates let us know he caught a couple big hands, sent someone packing, and now holds more than 600,000 in his stack. And a laugh. Mercier is having a good time and that does not bode well for the rest of the field.
