Players were sent on a 15-minute break and Table 14 played a big hand as soon as they came back.
It folded to Benjamin Scott in the small blind and he raised to 80,000. Brian Scott three-bet to 265,000 from the big blind and Grise clicked it up to 980,000. Scott thought for a moment, called the raise, and Grise immediately dropped two barrels of blue chips (1,000,000) saying “in the dark” before the flop.
The flop came and Scott quickly called at risk for 820,000.
Scott was ahead with the big pair the huge pot and held after the turn and river to put him in the lead.
Brian Scott – 3,640,000 (121 bb)
Benjamin Grise – 720,000 (24 bb)
