2016 SHRPO Main Event Champion Jason Koon

The time has come to get down to the business of finding our 2017 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open Champion. We will have players from around the world mixing it up with our local regulars and all trying to duplicate Jason Koon’s run last year to the SHRPO title.

The $5,250 buy-in Championship has a $3 Million Guaranteed prize pool to put a lot of money up for grabs. In order to earn the title, players will have to make their way through the field over two starting flights, two play down days, and the live-streamed final table in the Hard Rock Live Arena.

It will be worth the effort.

Entrants sit down to 30,000 starting stacks and the Championship runs one-hour level throughout the day. Late registration is available until the start of Level 9 at 9pm with a single re-entry option available for the Championship. The day will come to an end after Level 10 with all survivors bagging up their chips for a Day 2 return on Sunday.

Tournament Director Tony Burns will put cards in the air at 11am and we expect a big day the ballroom today.
