David Lee

Day 1B has come to an end with 336 survivors, and the chipleader is David Lee with 404,500 (202 big blinds). Combined with the 231 players who made it through Day 1A, the field will be returning for Day 2 at 12:00 noon on Sunday with 567 players.

The total field size is officially 1,573 entries, and while the official prizepool hasn’t been released yet, it should be worth more than $5 million — five times the $1 million guarantee. The full list of payouts is still being verified, but it should be released in the next few hours (likely by 3:30 am EST or so), along with the Day 2 seat draw and official chip counts.

Because of the huge field, more players survived the starting flights than the capacity of the ballroom, so there will be handful of tables that begin in the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Room. Those tables will be clearly noted in the Day 2 seat draw.

Day 2 begins tomorrow (Sunday) at 12:00 noon EST. Return to SHRPO.com for continuing coverage of the WPT Lucky Hearts Poker Open Championship.
