Championship Day 1B: Filling Final Flight

$5,250 SHRPO Championship
$3 Million Guaranteed | Structure
Level 1: 75/150 with a 25 ante

One flight is complete, now it’s time for the second and final flight of the 2017 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open. Flight A drew 407 entries to leave the tournament only 212 shy of crossing the $3 Million Guarantee. It shouldn’t take to long to get there.

There were 124 players still around yesterday at the end of play. Andy Philachak and Pablo Fernandez finished with 290,000 to share the overnight chip lead and we also had three of our four past SHRPO champions book their seat in Day 2 with Dan Colman, Omar Zazay, and defending champ Jason Koon all set.

Everyone today is trying to join those players for a shot to pick up the next SHRPO title.

Entrants begin with 30,000 starting stacks and all Day 1 levels run 60-minutes long. Late registration is open until the start of Level 9 at 9pm and players are limited to a single re-entry if they bust their stack. If they used one yesterday, they have one shot today.

A 75-minute dinner break is built in at 5:30pm and play will conclude for the night after Level 10. Everyone remaining with any kind of stack will put it a bag for a return tomorrow for Day 2.

Cards will go in the air at 11am and we’ll be here all day.
