One flight is down for the Rock ‘N’ Roll Poker Open at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood with the second, and final, ready to roll out at the top of the hour. It was a nice field of 273 entries yesterday but we expect today’s to top that by a nice bit.

Then hit the $2 Million Guarantee before registration closes this evening.

Of those 273 entries, there were 91 players booking Day 2 seat on Sunday and Amir Tawfik is the current chip leader. He’s followed closely by Seminole Hard Rock Poker team member Faraz Jaka who was one of the latest entrants into the Flight A.

Players will sit down to 30,000 deep stacks and 60-minute levels throughout the first two days of the Championship. They are scheduled for a 90-minute dinner break starting at 6:30pm and registration will close when they return at 8pm. Flight B will play ten full levels and survivors will bag up their chips for a return tomorrow.

Dealers are preparing their tables and we will be underway at noon sharp.
