Level 4:  300/500 with a 500 ante
Day 1B Entries:  589

Igor Tolstov won the Holiday Deep Stack last night on Thanksgiving, and first prize included his $3,500 entry into this event.

Igor Tolstov raised UTG+1 to 1,300, Ren Lin called from the hijack, and Ray Qartomy called from the big blind.

The flop came AdAcKc, and it checked to Lin, who bet 2,000. Qartomy folded, and Tolstov called.

The turn card was the Jh, and both players checked.

The river card was the 5c, and Tolstov moved all in for 22,400. Lin asked for an exact count and went into the tank for a while before he folded 9c6c for a club flush. Tolstov took the pot.

After the hand, Qartomy said he thought Lin folded the best hand, but Lin was convinced that Tolstov had a full house. Lin told Tolstov he would pay him $100 if he showed his cards as anything other than ace-jack. Tolstov gave a non-commital shrug and took the pot without showing his cards.

“Ace-jack,” said Lin.

“You’ll find out later on the live-stream,” joked Tolstov, knowing full well that there is no live-stream for this event until the final table.

Igor Tolstov  –  31,100  (62 bb)
Ray Qartomy  –  100,000  (200 bb)
Ren Lin  –  110,000  (220 bb)

There will be a 90-minute dinner break after Level 6 (about 5:30 pm), and action will continue tonight until the end of Level 10 (around 11:15 pm).
