With all the big names hanging around in the room, a couple of newer faces have emerged with large stacks as we’re past the midway point of Level 9.

Mark Scacewater has stromed to 158,000 chips while a couple of tables down Kent Taepakdee has put up a count of 162,000 so far.  Taepakdee has gone down this road before as he was the Day 1B leader of last year’s Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open.

We’re closing in the end of the night as the players chase their shot at Day 2 and the hopes of playing to put their name on the WPT Champions Cup.
