The 2023 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open Championship drew 1,070 entries over two starting flights to create a prize pool worth more than $5,000,000.

We had 317 players survive to make it through Day 2, and they will return at noon to begin playing down to our SHRPO Champ.

Brandon Wittmeyer leads the way, with Shannon Shorr, Gary Bolden, Alex Nguyen, and Jason Daly rounding out the top five. It’s still a long way before we near the final table, but they should hit the money bubble near the dinner break.

They will play another ten levels, one hour each, and anyone with chips at that point will return tomorrow for Day 3. Blinds are 1,500/2,500 with a 2,500 ante, and the average stack is about 135,000 (54 bb).

Top ten returning stacks:

  1. Brandon Wittmeyer – 474,000 (190 bb)
  2. Shannon Shorr – 396,000 (158 bb)
  3. Gary Bolden – 395,000 (158 bb)
  4. Alex Nguyen – 384,500 (154 bb)
