The 2017 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open Championship continues at noon with Day 3. The starting field of 887 entries is down to just 30 players, each looking to capture the top prize of $754,083.

Leading the way into Day 3 is two-time WPT champion Aaron Mermelstein with 2,706,000. A plethora of notables remain, including Adam Levy (1,960,000), Matt Berkey (1,795,000), David Sands (1,044,000), Glenn Becker (1,029,000), Day 1 chip leader Diana Shirey (923,000), David Diaz (788,000), Scott Clements (776,000), Joe Kuether (615,000), Luke Brereton (569,000), Shannon Shorr (506,000), and Joel Harwood (291,000).

Becker is still in the hunt for SHRP Player of the Year, while Kuether has a chance to lock up a second seat at a final table in The Big 4, having already made the final table in the $1,100 NLH Re-Entry.

Levels will continue to be 60 minutes until 27 players remain. From there, levels will be increased to 90 minutes. That will carry over into the final table tomorrow, and levels will be reduced back to 60 minutes once heads-up play is reached.

Speaking of the final table, today’s remaining field of 30 will be playing down to nine players, at which point the official final table will be set for the spotlight event of The Big 4.
