Championship Day 3: Kessler and Pahuja Gone

$3,500 Championship No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Level 22: 8,000/16,000/2,000 Ante

Allen Kessler took over the second spot for career WPT cashes when he made the money here yesterday but has to settle for less than a win for the 21st time. He had a big chance to double when he was all-in with KdKs against Alexsandr Denisov’s 8s8d. Denisov flopped another Eight to send “Chainsaw” out in 60th spot.

Vinny Pahuja wasn’t far behind after getting all-in with KdJd against Sebastian Ruiz’ AcQc. The Ts8c6d flop did not improve his hand but he picked up an open-ended straight draw on the Qh turn. The river blanked 2h to send Pahuja out in 59th.
