$5,300 Championship NLH $10 Million Guaranteed (Re-Entry)
Level 24: Blinds 10k/20k/3k ante
Day 3 of the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open Championship is underway and just 62 of the starting 1,499 players are still around with a shot at the title.
The bubble burst quickly on Day 2 when Bao Nguyen knocked out Joe Weissman in 301st leaving the rest of the field in line for part of the $10 million prize pool.
Nguyen didn’t survive to bag chips at the end of the day but there a few former November Niners making noise in the Championship. John Racener and Russel Thomas have some work to do with their stacks but John Dolan sits down with the chip lead.
Notable pros still in the field include Mike Leah, Joe Kuether, Shawn Cunix, Ty Reiman, Jared Jaffee, Mohsin “ChicagoCards” Charania, and Joe Serock. There also two high-stakes wizards lurking with Doug “WCGRider” Polk and 2014 Big One for One Drop Champion Dan Colman. Both always dangerous with chips.
Day 3 kicks off the 90-minute level portion of the tournament and they are scheduled to play down to the final 18 players.
