Two starting flights and two play-down days have the SHRPO Championship on the verge of crowning a winner. The $5,250 buy-in tournament drew 1,180 entries but only nine could book a seat at the final table that gets underway at 1 pm.
Dimitri Vorbe knocked out 2013 SHRPO Champ Blair Hinkle to return today with the chip lead. Ian O’Hara is a close second and all nine are capable of taking home the new SHRPO Championship trophy.
All nine are guaranteed to cash for at least $100,215 but all eyes are on the huge $929,365 top prize.
Action gets back underway this afternoon and you can follow all of the updates right here.
