Philipe Pizzari Pinto raised under the gun to 130,000, Kitty Kuo called from UTG+1, and James Mendoza moved all in from the cutoff for 1,535,000.

Pinto used one of his Time Chips to tank for nearly a minute before he called, and Kuo quickly folded.

Mendoza turned over AcKs, and needed to improve to stay alive against Pinto’s 8s8h.

The board came AsQh3h2c3s, and Mendoza paired his ace on the flop to win the pot and double up in chips.

James Mendoza  –  3,350,000  (56 bb)
Philipe Pizzari Pinto  –  1,665,000  (28 bb)

With 18 players remaining from a field of 1,070, the average chip stack is around 2,380,000 (40 big blinds). The remaining players are guaranteed at least $43,800 each.
