On a flop of 7d6s2s, Jon Turner bet 150,000 out of the big blind and Enos Smith called on the button.

The turn was the Qh and Turner checked. Smith bet 200,000 and Turner called. The river was the Js and Turner checked again. Smith bet 350,000 and Turner went deep into the tank.

After a minute in the tank, Turner pushed forward a call and Smith was reluctant to show his hand.

“King high,” said Smith, who showed Kd9s.

Turner tabled 4h2h, good for bottom pair and dragged the pot. The table was vocal in their astonishment of Turner’s call. Turner takes the pot and the chip lead.

He eliminated Smith on the next hand to extend his chip lead on the field.

Jon Turner – 4,000,000
