Jon Turner raised from the hijack to 550,000, leaving himself a single 5K chip behind, and David Greufe called from the cutoff.

The flop came Ac10h5d, Turner checked, Greufe bet, and Turner used a couple of Time Chips to tank for a while before he called all in for 5,000 with Kh10c for a pair of tens.

Greufe turned over JdJc, and Turner needed to improve to stay alive.

The turn card was the 6s, the river card was the Kd, and Turner spiked a king on the river to win the pot with two pair, kings and tens, to double up in chips.

Jon Turner  –  1,225,000  (25 bb)
David Greufe  –  1,960,000  (39 bb)

With 16 players remaining from a field of 673, the average chip stack is around 2,105,000 (42 big blinds). The remaining players are guaranteed at least $36,000 each.

They will play as many 90-minute levels as it takes to reach the final nine players for tomorrow’s final table.
