Ian Cohen moved all in from the small blind, and Michael Amato called all in from the big blind for 900,000 with Ac6d. Cohen turned over Ad4c, and there was a pretty good chance for a chop.

But there was a six in the window as the board came 9h8h6hKs2h, and Amato won the pot with a pair of sixes to double up in chips.

Michael Amato  –  1,950,000  (13 bb)
Ian Cohen  –  9,400,000  (63 bb)

The next hand, Amato moved all in from the small blind for 1,950,000, and Dylan Smith thought for a bit before he called from the big blind with KsJc.

Amato turned over Qh8c, and needed to improve to stay alive.

The board came Qs10h7c4hJs, and Amato paired his queen on the flop and faded Smith’s open-ended straight draw to win the pot and double up in chips for the second hand in a row.

Michael Amato  –  4,050,000  (27 bb)
Dylan Smith  –  1,600,000  (11 bb)

With 10 players remaining from a field of 1,417, the average chip stack is around 7,075,000 (47 big blinds). The remaining players are guaranteed at least $65,000 each.

The field will play as many 90-minute levels as it takes to reach the final six players for tomorrow’s 12:00 noon WPT Final Table, which will also be live streamed.
