Thien Nguyen leads the Day 3 return

After starting with 1,417 entries, the 2026 WPT Poker Showdown Championship is down to its last 80 players and they return at noon to push for the really big cash near the top.

Today’s plan is simple; they continue playing until only 16 players remain at the last two tables. Levels last 60 minutes until there are 5 tables left in the tournament, then increase to 90 minutes.

Thien Nguyen leads the field coming into Day 3, but any of these 80 have a chance for the top spot.
