“I’m going all in the next hand,” bellowed Ray Qartomy to the rest of the tournament area. “I’m not looking. I’m sticking it dark the next hand.”

Qartomy was down to his last 24,000 in chips and was in the big blind.

Vinny Pahuja raised to 25,000 from the cutoff and Joe Serock called on the button. Farid Jattin moved all in out of the small blind for about 900,000. Qartomy called, committing his 14,000 behind, before Pahuja and Serock both folded.

“Thank you, Farid,” said Qartomy before the cards were tabled. “I don’t know what I have, but thank you.”

Jattin showed and was in the lead against Qartomy’s .

“Two live cards. That’s all I can ask for,” said Qartomy.

The board ran out and Jattin won the pot to eliminate Qartomy in 66th place for $7,965.
